Summer Fun, Pool Rules, a Visit from the Arborist, and New Signage Installation

Dear Huntington Village Unit Owners,

Summer has arrived! The pool is open  and it’s time to embrace the season with sunscreen, swimsuits, and neighborly charm. Please review the pool rules at HVUOA.com.  Please read and/or pass on these  reminders to your tenants as we dive into the fun:

Poolside Courtesy

  • Please return all pool tools (noodles, floats, chairs) to their rightful homes. The pool deck is for splashing, not hoarding.

  • No lifeguard on duty—so parents and guardians, keep a close eye on your aspiring Olympians.

  • Volume is good. Screaming like you saw a shark (in a chlorinated pool) or pumping the volume on your boom box is less good.

  •  Pool cards for owners or your tenants will be mailed to you if you are in good standing with your dues and assessments payments.

Respect the Greenery

The  landscaping is not an obstacle course. Please stay on the paths and remind children not to trample the flower beds, rearrange the mulch, or treat the shrubs as jungle gyms.  A lot of residents pride themselves on their gardens so please be respectful and keep your distance.

Arborist Alert

We’ve scheduled an arborist to be on property the first week of June. They’ll be inspecting and working on trees throughout Huntington Village. We’ll send out specific dates and details as soon as we have them—so stay tuned and maybe give your favorite tree a little pep talk.

New signage for Huntington Village will be installed starting Tuesday, June 17th.  Please be mindful when driving through the neighborhood for installers and equipment trucks.

Let’s keep things clean, kind, and community-minded. We can’t wait to see you enjoying the season!

See you out there!

Garbage Guidelines Our dumpsters are made for trash. However, with residents moving in and out, they are being used for unwanted furniture and other inappropriate items that our waste management company will not pick up. In addition, we have stopped outsiders from dumping in our dumpster. To dispose of these bulk items, consider these options. The HOA has to pay for the disposal of these items which is expensive.  When disposing of cardboard boxes, please remember to break them down.  For a more comprehensive understanding of waste guidelines, click here.

Parking

Parking at Huntington Village

A few years ago we experienced a problem with stolen, illegal vehicles being parked and stored in our neighborhood. Therefore, to ensure the safety of our community and to avoid this happening again, our security company monitors the vehicles that are parked here. Our rules require all vehicles to have current registration regardless of the state. Vehicles that are not registered and suspicious, are tagged and given 24 hours before being towed.  If you or one of your residents receive a tag, please comply asap to avoid towing and the associated fees.

Resident Information on Website

We welcome new residents to Huntington Village. We would like to remind those neighbors to visit our website and review our regulations for living in our  community. Our website is HVUOA.com and go to the Residents' guide tab. Thank you!
