Letter from the Board
Dear Huntington Village Unit Owners and Residents,
It is hard to believe that we are coming up on one year from the 2023 Annual Meeting. If the Board summarized their priorities in 2024, it would be responsible fiscal and operational management of our community. These game changing accomplishments were guided by your concerns voiced at the 2022 and 2023 annual meetings, from the 2022 community survey, and during our extended and vigorous community dialogue during the capital assessment process this year. The Board thanks your for your assistance and participation in navigating the serious issues facing our community during 2023 and 2024. This community should be proud of our significant inroads accomplished but more work still remains.

Safety First
SLOW DOWN!
With the start of school, we would like to remind everyone to slow down while driving in our neighborhood. We are fortunate to have several small children who have moved into HV recently as well as some who have been with us for a while. Please be aware and careful particularly during the morning and afternoon hours when children are going to and coming from the bus stop and coming home from school.
SNAKES!
Also, there have been several snake sightings in our neighborhood. Please keep an eye out when walking your dog or watching your children play. We are aware and working with our landscaper to help everyone stay safe.
SAFEGUARD YOUR VALUABLES!
Please remember to keep your car doors locked at night and valuables inside and off your front porch and sidewalks. Twice in the past three months, some items left out have been stolen. Our security company makes three unannounced sweeps through our community every night and works tirelessly to keep us safe, so help them help you by securing your valuables.

Garbage Guidelines
Our dumpsters are made for trash. However, with residents moving in and out, they are being used for unwanted furniture and other inappropriate items that our waste management company will not pick up. In addition, we have stopped outsiders from dumping in our dumpster. To dispose of these bulk items, consider these options. The HOA has to pay for the disposal of these items which is expensive. When disposing of cardboard boxes, please remember to break them down. For a more comprehensive understanding of waste guidelines, click here.

Parking at Huntington Village
A few years ago we experienced a problem with stolen, illegal vehicles being parked and stored in our neighborhood. Therefore, to ensure the safety of our community and to avoid this happening again, our security company monitors the vehicles that are parked here. Our rules require all vehicles to have current registration regardless of the state. Vehicles that are not registered and suspicious, are tagged and given 24 hours before being towed. If you or one of your residents receive a tag, please comply asap to avoid towing and the associated fees.
Resident Information on Website
We welcome new residents to Huntington Village. We would like to remind those neighbors to visit our website and review our regulations for living in our community. Our website is HVUOA.com and go to the Residents' guide tab. Thank you!
